A tribute to Selvaraghavan (read caption)
I realised I had made a post on my favorite actor, my favorite author but not on my favorite director. So I decided to make a post on Selvaraghavan. Selvaraghavan is great director who tends to use human emotions and lighting to convey his stories. The reason he is so great is because he makes movies relatable in one way or another. For example "Mayakkam Enna" was relatable to me because I dream to be a director so I was able to relate with Dhanush's character- Karthik Swaminathan. Although Karthik was a photographer it was similar to my passion.
It also continues to be my most favorite movie in the world.
Art is always something that is close to your heart. Selvaraghavan is not just a great director. I believe he Also is a good lyricist and singer (he sang Kaadhal en Kaadhal' in "Mayakkam Enna".)
Selvaraghavan also is one of those few people who has a male lead but revolves the story around the female lead in Kollywood. Without those female characters there wouldn't be the male lead.
For example there is no 7G Rainbow Colony without Sonia Agarwal. Ravi had just a small role. His character was entirely fuelled by Sonia's character.
If this post reaches Selvaraghavan, I would be on top of the world.
