Cinema is an Art

Some religious preachers tend to call cinema a sin, they say that God says that we shouldn't watch them. They say it is the worst creation ever made. Well, guess what? Cinema comes from reality. Without reality, there is no Cinema. Sure, there are idiots like Santosh. P. Jayakumar who misuse Cinema for personal purposes. But cinema, not avengers, not star wars, I mean CINEMA, has the power to change the world. The film Anbe Sivam (2003) made me understand what love was so clearly that no one else in this world could. Cinema is an art which should be put out in this world. Just because some fools misinterpret Cinema and do something stupid, it doesn't mean Cinema promotes it. You need common sense to understand art. Those idiots don't have them. If you still believe Cinema is a sin, please point out how and where God called it a sin.
